Scarlett was exploring the castle. It facinated her so much, and it was just so big! She had been wondering around for about an hours and was certain she was lost, but that she thought was a concern for later. She came to the end of a passage way and was going to turn around and look for another way when a painting caught her eye. It was a large picture of a fruit bowl, they looked so life like she just had to stop and have a look. she lent close and reached out a hand, wondering if it felt as real at it looked. No sooner had she run her fingers over a bright green pair and decided that no, it did not infact feel real when it was gone, and in it's place was an old brass door knob. "How exciting!" she thought to herself, eagerly turning the knob, wondering what she would find behind this hidden door. The sight that met her eyes was quite astonishing. Tiny little creatures with large round eyes and wearing rags, hundreds of them! They were, she decided instantly, the cutest things she had ever seen. "What can we get you miss?" said a small squeaky voice at her said. "Oh, umm no I am fine" she said smiling down at what was obviously a girl. Looking around she decided that this must be the kitchen's, and that these creatures, most of them busy infront of ovens and stoves, were some sort of chefs.
"Sorry to bother you" she said to the little one still at her side "My name is Scarlett, I was just looking around.. umm, what is your name?" she asked, looking down at the thing. "Tipsy, miss.TIpsy the house elf!" it said with a huge smile. "Nice to meet you TIpsy" Scarlett smiled.
it was quite for a few moments until Tipsy grabbed her hand, pulling Scarlett over to one of the tables and vanishing, reappearing instantly with a tray of orange juice and cakes. "Would you like to join me?" Scarlett asked when TIpsy merely stood there, watching and waiting, and with a furtive look at the other house elves, sat down next to Scarlett, taking a little pink cake in her hands.
