BACKGROUND


Family background and description: Kerra has a six year old brother named Liam. Her parents Anne and Robert Torrin married as soon as they were out of Hogwarts. Her muggle grandparents are still wary of magic, but enjoy having the kids over so they can be spoiled.
Personal history (what happened to your character until his current age, at least a paragraph about this, also this section requires to be constantly updated): When she was five Kerra began using accidental magic to make her stuffed birds fly around the room. Kerra enjoyed traveling with her parents and is sad that she won't be able to any longer. Because she traveled with her parents Kerra never made many close friends, instead finding a pen-pal and through years of exchanged letters Sara, a girl from America, became her best friend. Also, on her trip to buy school supplies her parents surprised her with a small black kitten named Myst.


CHARACTER DESCRIPTION


Physical Appearance: Kerra has long brown hair, that her mother would love to cut short. She is tall for her age and has tiny hands with long fingers. Kerra's eyes are her favorite feature a light gray with flecks of amber and green hidden in them.
Personality (strengths, weaknesses, traits, flaws, interests, what does he or she love? hate? write a bit about each): Kerra has been called beautiful and loyal by many people in her family. She still has some trouble believing that she is truly as beautiful as they say. When she's nervous Kerra will bite the inside of her lip. Ever since her father bought her a mythology book when she was nine mythology has been her passion. It takes a while for her to make friends, because as soon as she made a good friend her family went on another trip. Because of this Kerra stays within her shell and tries not to become too close to people.

King's Cross
Kerra leaned, pushing the heavy trolley forwards. Her parents, Anne and Robert, walked on either side of her with her younger brother Liam trailing behind. Gray eyes swept over the bustle of people hurrying towards the departing trains. It was the first time she had been to King's Cross and her stomach was knotted with dread and anticipation. Leaving her parents for so long seemed terrifying even if it was to go to Hogwarts. Kerra was abruptly jerked from her thoughts by almost running into her parents. They were looking at her amusedly. Kerra looked between them to see platforms nine and ten and between them, invisible to the eye sat Platform 9 3/4. She braced herself. Running at a wall, even if it wasn't really there, was not her idea of fun.
